John Valliant is the founder and principal of the Responsible Philanthropy Group, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in non-profit and family foundation issues.  RP Group was formed to take advantage of his more than twenty years of non-profit experience in fundraising, management, and membership development as well as his extensive network of professional contacts.  As President of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Maryland, he led the institution through unprecedented expansion and two successful capital campaigns.  He has completed governance training through BoardSource and brings his expertise to many nonprofit boards.  He also is the President of the Grayce B. Kerr Fund, Inc., a private family foundation in Easton, Maryland.
