Dr. Dolly Wideman-Scott is a visionary, community mobilizer, public speaker, and exceptional advocate and has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Domestic Violence Center of Chester County, PA (DVCCC) since 1996.  DVCCC is a non-profit organization with a two-million-dollar annual budget that provides programs and services for victim survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence and stalking and services for their dependent children.  DVCCC also provides public education and training on the cycle of relationship violence and risk assessments (LAP). Wideman-Scott’s multi-faceted experience include   working with constituent groups including boards, committees, volunteers, communities of faith and the general public.  

 

Dr. Wideman-Scott has more than 38 years of experience in the field of domestic violence and serves on a number of county-wide, state and national coordinating bodies – she is on the Chester County Decade to Doorways Governance Board, the Diversity Chair for the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence and she also serves on the Board as Vice-President for the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence ; Vice-Chair for the Coatesville Center for Community Health Board and she is a Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) Standards for Excellence Committee Member.  Dr. Wideman-Scott has been honored with many awards such as:   Exton Region Chamber of Commerce Harold Martin Business Leadership Award; March of Dimes- Excellence in the Field of Public Service; The Senator Robert J. Thompson Public Service Award; DNB First Loyalty Service Award, and the Paul Harris Fellow Award.
