Ana-Astrid Molina is an entrepreneurial, results-oriented, bilingual (English/Spanish) executive: specializing in nonprofit management to enhance the organization’s relevance and impact in the community. With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit administration, from a start-up to a midsize performing arts organization, Ms Molina has expertise in the non-profit incorporation process, acquisition and maintenance of the IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, board development, strategic planning, budget planning, fundraising strategies, arts program evaluation, creation and implementation of outreach programs, and hiring and supervising paid and volunteer personnel.

Ms. Molina obtained a Licentiate (M.S. equivalent) in Food Science and Technology from the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas, and worked as the Head of Quality Control for Govella, a processed meat manufacturer. Since an early age she also studied music at the Padre Sojo Music Academy. Her interest in art led her to volunteer for several years at the prestigious José Antonio and Carmen Calcaño Cultural Foundation. When Ms. Molina moved to Maryland, she worked as a Scientist at the American Type Culture Collection, a world renowned nonprofit biological resource center and research organization; and later as the Executive Director of Coral Cantigas, the only nonprofit Latin American choral organization in the Washington D.C. metro area. Ms. Molina’s background and working experiences provides her with a unique expertise, combining the analytical skills of a scientist and the creativity of an artist.

Ms. Molina currently serves on the Board of Directors of Glorystar Culture and Education Foundation, the Marketing Committee and the Executive Ball Awards’s Selection Committee of the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, and the Music Programs Grant Panel of the Maryland State Arts Council.
