My experience includes over 10 years in the for profit sector serving at the director of operations level and above and 7 years at the executive director level in the nonprofit sector. I served as Director of Quality in an ISO 9001 certified company leadership skills and broad operations knowledge and experience contributed to the “Cognitive Diversity” of teams and has produced improved collaboration, customer satisfaction and profitability. Lean six sigma certification and experience when combined with relational skills enhances companies and their relationships with customers and vendors in “win-win” scenarios. Connecting with people at every level in a company and seeking their insights, I draw out the best operationally and create cohesive teams. With a servant leader style, I honor and give back to stakeholders at every level. Applying principles from books like "Good to Great" and "Five Dysfunctions of a Team" comes naturally. I have used my organizational development and process skills in the HR realm and wrote a white paper which outlines a process to hire team members who fit an organization’s culture and values and thereby reduce hiring and training costs.
