The Standards for Excellence® Institute continues to build a national network of qualified consultants licensed to provide training, consulting, and support on the Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector. The Licensed Consultant Training is an exclusive, professional development initiative that gives independent consultants the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to work with nonprofit organizations across the country interested in learning about, conducting self assessments, implementing change, and becoming accredited in the Standards for Excellence Program.
Licensed Consultant Training Sponsor:
Standards for Excellence and Maryland Nonprofits members – $2,100; Nonmembers – $2,250. (Tuition fees do not include travel and lodging.)
Installment payment plans are available. A $150 discount is provided to individuals who are currently associate members of Maryland Nonprofits or the Standards for Excellence Institute.
Some geographic locations are served by a licensed Standards for Excellence replication partner. Please verify if you are located in a region covered by a replication partner by visiting Find a Replication Partner. If your geographic region is covered by a replication partner, please attach a letter of support from that replication partner endorsing your candidacy as a Licensed Consultant. The application form will prompt you to upload this letter.
This year, the Standards for Excellence Institute is offering three partial scholarships to participants of the Licensed Consultant program. Scholarships are only available to applicants accepted to the Fall 2024 Licensed Consultant Training Program. All scholarship applications must be submitted online by July 19, 2024 (by 11:59 PM EST). Scholarship recipients will be informed by phone or email by August 29, 2024.
