Madison Darling joined the Provident Health Foundation in early 2022 as the Grants and Collaboration Officer. In this role she supports both the Board of Directors and applicants in the grant application process. Additionally, she conducts Capacity Building Engagements where she provides nonprofit consulting to organizations in the community to improve their operating and increase their capacity.

Cheryl Petty Garnette served as the Executive Director of The Ivy Community Charities of Prince George’s County, Inc. from January 2008 – January 2024. The organization provides tutoring, mentoring and leadership development from elementary through high school, training for parents, scholarships for high school seniors, social activities for the elderly, and a host of workshops on financial literacy, health and wellness, the arts, civic engagement, equity and social justice. Through Cheryl’s efforts, the organization earned the Maryland Nonprofits Standards for Excellence Accreditation in 2022.

Katy McGuire, CFRE, is the retired Chief Advancement Officer for The Arc Baltimore. Over the past 30+ years she worked in development, communications, government relations, and volunteerism for organizations addressing disability services/rights, poverty, and nonprofit sector issues in Baltimore, Raleigh, and Miami.

She is past-president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Maryland Chapter, a member of the Leadership Baltimore County program committee, and serves on the selection committee for the MD National Philanthropy Day Philanthropist and Foundation of the Year awardees.

Katy lives in Baltimore with her husband and has two grown children.
