April Mastroluca is the Chief Problem Solver at Synergy Nonprofit Consulting, a boutique nonprofit consulting firm. April loves helping people improve their leadership skills by training nonprofits in board development and advocacy. She has spent over 20 years in the nonprofit industry, working in programs, board development, and management. April has always been an active volunteer in her community. She served as the president of SAFY (Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth), she was elected President of AFP Las Vegas Chapter, and April also served as a public member of the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners for nearly six years; serving as a member of the Investigative Committee and as the Board Secretary/Treasurer. As a former elected official in Nevada, she is passionate about teaching others how to advocate for critical issues as well as helping nonprofit organizations achieve success through training and coaching.
