Mya Hodge is the Executive Director at 29th Street Community Center. She is a Baltimorean who believes that being engaged in the community is an essential factor to living a meaningful life. Creating a sense of belonging and unity are building blocks to impacting the Baltimore community and reaching Baltimore City youth. Aside from being an advocate for Baltimore City youth, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, music, and dancing. A fun fact about Mya is that she started her career as a dance teacher who taught literacy through movement. Mya holds a BS in English and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She brings to the organization her non-profit management skills, grant writing skills, and her service-minded attitude.
