Rikisha Goree is a retired U.S. Army Senior Noncommissioned Officer with over 22 years of Active Federal service as a Senior Human Resources Manager. She is originally from Beaumont, Texas and resides in Maryland. Currently, Rikisha is a Senior Executive Officer with Gemini Industries, LLC serving the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C.
Previously, she served as a Military Assistant, Staff Officer, and Budget Analyst within the Department of Defense and government agencies. Rikisha has a Bachelor of Science from Excelsior College and a Graduate Human Resources Certificate from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
She’s currently pursuing her Project Management Certification and Coaching Certification with Valerie Burton’s CAPP Institute while completing a dual Master of Arts in Human Relations and International Relations with the University of Oklahoma. Rikisha has a passion to continuously serve her community and her country.
Her human resource and advisory experience with organizations has led her to continuously support causes during and post military service.
She is a trained Resiliency Facilitator and Career Counselor determined to utilize her formal education, military skills, and life experiences to bridge gaps and facilitate learning as an interlocutor between organizations and the underrepresented in the Maryland community and beyond. Her objective is to support and grow people and by facilitating an internal shift. Rikisha will graduate in the Spring 2024.
