Christian Smith is a DFW based economic development professional specializing in business attraction, small business support, and workforce development. Christian has worked for several cities throughout the metroplex supporting strategic economic development goals. He received his bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in geographic information science from the University of Texas at Dallas. Christian recently earned an MPA with concentrations in local government management and nonprofit management from the University of Texas at Dallas. In 2022, Christian was recognized by the International City/County Management Association with a Local Government Early Career Service Certificate. Christian was one of 20 recipients across the country to receive the designation and plans to continue his career in local government.
