Suzanne Massey

Suzanne Massey is Vice President of the Santander Consumer Foundation and head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Santander Consumer USA. She currently oversees $50 million dollars in grant funding to over 60 grantees in three U.S. regions. The Foundation grew in funding from less than $1 million to over $50 million in four years. In addition, she manages corporate sponsorships and community partnerships engagement. Prior to the pandemic, she led a campaign that resulted in a 129% increase in usage of company-wide volunteer hours and approximately 25,000 hours of volunteerism in SC communities. She also implemented a company-wide volunteer software platform to better facilitate community engagement.

Before joining Santander, Ms. Massey served as Director, Community Relations at SMU where she initiated SMU’s first strategic community relations plan. Ms. Massey also served as Vice President at the Dallas Regional Chamber where she led Minority and Women’s Business Development, Small Business and Executive Women’s Leadership programs as well as major annual chamber events for several years.

She is actively engaged in the community and is a Leadership Dallas class of 2015 alum. She currently serves on the Board of Social Venture Partners – Dallas and as Co-chair of the Dallas Corporate Citizenship Network. She was honored to be named to the 2022 Points of Light Inspiration Honor Roll.

Ms. Massey holds a Master of Arts in Sustainability and Development from Southern Methodist University’s Lyle School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Austin College in Sherman, Texas.
