Kim Herbstritt has over 20 years of experience providing leadership and management in the nonprofit sector. She has had the honor and privilege to work extensively with diverse organizations, large and small, serving urban and rural communities to design and implement strategies focused on topics such as affordable/workforce housing, alcohol and other drug prevention, tobacco control, childhood obesity, community policing, human trafficking, and gangs.
Her life experiences and work with nonprofits have provided her with a deeper understanding of community, an excellent ability to create a shared vision while understanding systems and designing strategies and innovative approaches that strengthen the leadership and governance of nonprofit organizations working to create community change.
She has a Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego.
