Charmeda "Char" McCready is a Director of Programs with Fair Housing Rights Center in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Char is a Servant-Leader who has worked in the nonprofit sector for over twenty years, mainly assisting Seniors, individuals with disabilities, and protected class individuals in housing. Char received her BA from Towson University and her Masters in Nonprofit Management from NDMU. Her experience at NDMU was hugely impactful. NDMU’s coursework strengthened her both personally and professionally. Most recently, she served on the Alumni Council Board for NDMU. She looks forward to working with current students and alumni through mentorship and community services. Fun Fact: Char’s son is a train enthusiast. During the Spring and Summer, Char and her son can be found taking train trips to historic railways along the East Coast. She lives in Parkville with her husband and son.
