Talatha has over 20 years of experience in nonprofits: developing, managing, and directing programs in adult literacy, volunteer management, substance use, HIV/AIDS, and criminal justice. As the Director of the Women & Family Services Department at Gay Men's Health Crisis, where she was instrumental in launching the Women's Institute and spearheaded community research and education efforts to support innovative and effective responses to HIV prevention and care for women and families in New York City. Talatha has made contributions in the global AIDS arena as a member of the Women's Caucus of the International AIDS Society and as a consultant to programs in South Africa. She is a founding member of the Women's HIV Collaborative in New York City. As the VP of Operations and Strategic Learning at The New York Women’s Foundation, Ms. Reeves oversaw talent management, information technology, contracts, and facility management. She developed and launched new organizational departments and functions, oversaw the implementation of new technologies in talent management and data collection, and played a leading role in the annual budget, organizational planning, and financial audit. Ms. Reeves is currently working as a nonprofit management consultant. She focuses on organizational development issues, strategic planning, program design, monitoring, and evaluation.
