Lisa Barber is the Vice President of Administration and Operations at Employ Prince George’s Inc. (EPG). located in Prince George’s County, MD. Ms. Barber provides leadership for the continued development of all contract actions for EPG and is a high energy motivated leader with a comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience with complex contract and negotiations primarily in the Federal Government and Workforce Services industries. The primary responsibilities for her office encompass a wide variety of strategic contractual and operational obligations for the organization such as:
- Governance and policy
- Resource allocation
- Operational protocols
- Contract Administration.
She also serves as board staff to Employ Prince George’s Inc’s Corporate Board of Directors and Local Workforce Development Board. She also serves on several committees designed to foster active communication designed to improve the programs and services offered by not only Employ Prince George’s but also their partner agencies. Prior to joining Employ Prince George’s, Ms. Barber spent ten (10) years in contract administration roles within and outside of the Federal Government. Most recently, she served as the Contract Manager for Economic Development Corporation in Prince George’s County, MD. Ms. Barber holds a Master of Science with and concentration in Contract and Procurement Management from the University of Maryland and DAWIA Level III certification from the Defense Acquisition University. She also holds several graduate level certifications.
