Rosalind Spigel, MSOD, ACC, believes in the difference nonprofits can make.  Her vision is to make the world a better place by increasing the effectiveness of mission-driven organizations and helping nonprofits – and the people in them – grow and prosper.   

 

Rosalind brings creativity, innovation, and insight to nonprofit systems to support engagement and alignment of leadership, staff, and volunteers to achieve shared goals in service to the organization’s vision. In consultation with her clients, Rosalind designs and facilitates strategic planning and implementation, board development, leadership coaching, capacity building interventions such as visioning, goal setting and equity, and workshops tailored to nonprofits.    Rosalind is a certified Standards of Excellence consultant through the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations, a consultant with the Nonprofit Center at La Salle University and the Social Transformation Project and is a Coach and Practicum Advisor to the American University’s Master of Science, Organization Development (MSOD) program. Rosalind earned her BA from George Washington University and MSOD from the American University/National Training Laboratories (AU/NTL). She received her coach training from the Gestalt International Study Center and certification from the International Coaching Federation. She is trained to lead Future Search conferences, When Cultures Meet, and is certified to administer and interpret the TTI Insights behavior and motivator instruments (DISC).     

 

Rosalind received DEI training through the National Coalition Building Institute and Race Forward and has published a series of articles on implicit gender bias for Academic Impressions. Other articles include The Sacredness of Change and Developing Leadership: Using Triggers as a Wake-Up Call. She is the recipient of the Hal Kellner Award for contributions to issues of diversity and social justice.
