Barbara Bushey Ernico is President and CEO of Charitable Advisory Services following her retirement in August 2017 as Founding President/CEO of Adams County Community Foundation. Prior to establishing her own consulting business, Charitable Advisory Services, Ms. Ernico worked in the non-profit public charity world for over 30 years. A former Executive Director of Easter Seals and Administrator for an Intermediate Care Facility, Ms. Ernico has shared her experience in non-profit administration and grant writing for the past 40 years by consulting for charities. Her focus has been foundation grant-making and community building for York County Community Foundation, the Robert C. Hoffman Charitable Endowment Trust and the Adams County Community Foundation. She has served as a Peer Reviewer for PANO, The Standards for Excellence. In her spare time Barbara serves on the Temple University Alumni Association Budget and Investment Committee and the Temple University College of Public Health Board of Visitors. She loves to do needlepoint and recently completed a series of canvases called “The Creation Series.” This unique interpretation of the six days of creation has been donated to her church, Camp Hill United Methodist Church where the words hang in the sanctuary.
