Dr. Robin Hindsman Stacia is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Stacia graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, she then earned a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Stacia completed her Doctorate Internship at Howard University Hospital, in Washington, DC.

Dr. Stacia practiced as a clinical psychologist and healthcare executive for 25 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Robin’s held many clinical positions at the Perry Point and Baltimore, MD VA Medical Centers’ where she served as a clinical psychologist for 15 years in numerous clinical specialty areas, also held leadership positions in mental health ranging from Assistant Chief of Psychology and Director of outpatient mental health.

Concurrent to the above clinical and healthcare career, Dr. Stacia maintained a productive nonprofit consulting practice. In 2003, Dr. Stacia joined the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations as their first Director of Consulting and Contract Training. In this role Robin was responsible for designing and developing the initial scope of consulting services, creating partnerships with community consultants, and coordinating and providing customized consulting and contract training services to nonprofits organizations.

In 2005, Dr. Stacia returned to the Veterans Healthcare and relocated to Atlanta, GA where from January 2005- February 2015 Dr. Stacia served as the Quality Management Officer for the VA Southeast Network. In this capacity Dr. Stacia was responsible for ensuring that overall clinical performance standards were meet at the eight Veterans Medical Centers in GA, AL and SC. In this role, Dr. Stacia ensured successful accreditation by the Joint Commission, and over 50 other accreditation organizations; as well had oversight of performance standards required by the Office of Medical Inspectors and the Office of the Healthcare Inspector General. Additionally, Dr. Stacia served as faculty and preceptor for numerous clinical and health management training programs.

In February 2015, Dr. Stacia left healthcare to expand on her commitment to the nonprofit sector by launching Sage Consulting Network, Inc. (SCN) based in the Atlanta, GA.  Robin’s expertise ranges from board and organizational assessments, strategic planning, succession planning, governance education, diversity and inclusion, team effectiveness, board and executive partnerships, board structure transformations, and meeting and retreat facilitation. Robin also has substantial experience designing and delivering customized coaching services. She has provided consulting services in all sectors including nonprofit charities, foundations, associations, healthcare, faith-based, and government organizations.

Robin is known for her passionate focus on strengthening operations and mission impact by ensuring that nonprofit executives, senior leaders and boards have the capacity and knowledge for implementing effective governance, and organizational excellence.  Robin’s ultimate objective is to provide organizations with best practice tools and strategies that they can immediately use to improve organizational outcomes.

Robin is engaged in community services where is an active in fundraisers related to healthcare, homeless and mental, and women’s issues. Dr. Stacia is active in her church, with the Girls Scouts and through board service.
