Deborah M. Fisher, Psy.D. is a proven innovator whose vision, organizational understanding and collaborative skills with diverse stakeholders have enabled her to be a highly successful consultant and leader. She encourages the development and promotion of existing programs while always seeking opportunities for new areas of growth and development for the organizations with which she works, the individuals whom she supervises and supports, and for herself. Debby provides strategic change consultation, capacity building, and program development for human services organizations. Debby sees herself as an agent of change, having started her career as a licensed psychologist. She established a large practice in which she provided executive coaching, psychological evaluations and human resources consultation, in addition to other psychological services. During the last ten years, Debby was the Director of Clinical Operations for the Mid-Atlantic region of a national behavioral health managed care organization and then the Chief Operating Officer for the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes. Dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of the organizations in which people live and work, Debby has applied her skills to promoting successful outcomes for those with whom she has been employed.
Debby is an active member of several Boards, offering her time and commitment to such organizations as Sunflower Bakery, Healthcare Initiative Foundation, Psychology Interest Group of the American Association for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, to name a few.
Debby earned her Bachelor's Degree in psychology from Rutgers College and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers. She did her internship at Meharry Community Mental Health Center in Nashville.
