Dr. Buchan is the Principal and Founder of Invoke Nonprofit Consulting. She is a nonprofit strategist who has spent more than two decades helping organizations through Board Governance, Fundraising, Strategic Planning, Training & Coaching, Collaborations & Mergers, Foundations, and Evaluation Methods. Ivy brings frontline experience, a PhD and credentials focused on nonprofit leadership and collaboration, and award-winning community involvement to every engagement, while offering practical tools and real-world insights. Specifically, she is a Licensed Consultant at the state and national levels and an AFP Master Trainer. Ivy has also edited three nonprofit textbooks, founded two nonprofits, received multiple regional leadership and achievement awards, and she continues to serve on several nonprofit and professional boards.
