In 2021, April channeled her deep expertise in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, meeting facilitation, and training to establish Synergy Nonprofit Consulting. As the demand for her insights grew from for-profit organizations, she broadened her impact by rebranding to Synergy Strategic Solutions—expanding her services to include customized organizational assessments, strategic planning, and comprehensive training alongside her renowned facilitation work.
In 2023, April reached another milestone by earning a license to advise nonprofits on building capacity, accountability, and sustainability through the implementation of the Standards for Excellence® code—making her the only consultant in Nevada with this distinction.
