She has worked with organizations ranging from large Fortune 500 companies to associations and small local nonprofits. Her professional background includes communications, team management and training, and talent acquisition. Denise was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. After living in the mid-Atlantic for 30 years, she and her wife moved to Florida, where they currently reside. She is a graduate of Gettysburg College where she received her B.A. in Psychology and holds a certification from BoardSource for nonprofit governance consulting, and is a Standards for Excellence Licensed Consultant.
