Kendall Sorenson-Clark, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is a nonprofit executive and organizational development leader with more than 25 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations strengthen governance, workforce strategy, and operational effectiveness. Her work spans local, statewide, and regional nonprofits, particularly in behavioral health, human services, and philanthropy.

Most recently, Ms. Sorenson-Clark served as Chief of Talent & Culture for the New Mexico State University Foundation, where she built the organization’s talent and culture function during a period of rapid growth, scaling the workforce from 20 to 65 employees while implementing engagement, leadership development, and succession strategies. She also served concurrently as Interim Chief of Staff and Interim Board Liaison, supporting executive leadership and governance operations.

Previously, she served as Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development for Santé Group Companies, leading workforce strategy and compliance for more than 500 employees across three states and guiding the organization through the COVID-19 transition. She also served concurrently as Interim President of a newly acquired subsidiary, expanding services and significantly increasing its client base.

Her earlier leadership roles include Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for the Affiliated Santé Group, Vice President of Human Resources for St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore, and Executive Director of the Greenwell Foundation. In addition, she has consulted with numerous nonprofits on strategic planning, policy development, leadership training, and organizational assessment.

Ms. Sorenson-Clark is a licensed consultant with the Standards for Excellence Institute and holds senior professional certifications in human resources (SPHR, SHRM-SCP). She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University.
