Kim D. Jones is a strategic nonprofit leader and organizational change expert who specializes in restructuring organizations for sustainable growth and impact. With over 30 years of experience, she transforms struggling entities into thriving institutions through operational excellence, capacity building, and mission-focused leadership. As Executive Director of the Montgomery County Black Collective, Kim leads an alliance of Black leaders and organizations advancing equity, influencing policy, and building sustainable institutions for Black residents in Montgomery County, Maryland. For more than 10 years as CEO of the Nonprofit Village—Montgomery County’s first shared-space nonprofit incubator—Kim served over 1,500 organizations, providing affordable workspace, back-office services, and capacity-building programs. She created an innovative training and coaching model that helped grassroots nonprofits grow, graduate, and scale their operations. Kim holds a B.A. from Spelman College, is a Maryland Nonprofits Licensed Consultant in the Standards for Excellence, is a Certified Proposal Writer and BoardSource Certified in Governance Education.
