 Frances Frost

Frances Frost has been a leader in non-profit organizations, as a volunteer and board member, ranging from local family foundations to national organizations for over 20 years. Her main focus has been with organizations that address barriers and advocate for equitable opportunities for youth and families in education and provide community service particularly to Black communities and women.  

Professionally, she is an executive assistant in a local school district and previously worked in family engagement in federal education policy. Frances is Board member of the Friends of the Library Montgomery County and the Pearls of Hope Community Foundation; and has served as a National PTA Board Member Representative and President of Montgomery County (MD) Council of PTAs.

In her professional and volunteer roles, she has developed and delivered training across the country for school districts, non-profit boards, and volunteers on various topics, including education policy, family engagement in education, diversity, equity and inclusion, organization-specific operations and governance, and boardsmanship. She also has experience in strategic planning, budgeting and fiscal management, volunteer management, and conference event planning.  

Frances has a Masters of Business Administration degree from Wake Forest University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Delaware, and the Non-Profit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University.
