Ron Carlton is the President and Principal Consultant at High Level Church, Business and Nonprofit Consulting, Inc. Ron is a Licensed Nonprofit Consultant. He brings more than 33 years of experience as a corporate consultant to small businesses and religious and nonprofit corporations. Ron’s diverse corporate and compliance consultation services to religious and nonprofit corporations, spans concept inception and formation, to corporate housekeeping, federal and multi-state organizational and asset compliance, Director, Trustee and Officer training, strategic planning, grant writing, conflict resolution and real property management compliance. 

His work includes, but is not limited to, consulting to small and large international and domestic churches and their integrated auxiliaries, alumni associations, block associations, nursing associations, community arts groups, film and movie production companies, dance theatres, local development corporations, social clubs, title holding companies and general charitable organizations where the Boards and Officers hail from or operate in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, South America and Africa. 

Ron is the sole corporate consultant to the Metro New York District Church of the Nazarene, by providing compliance to the Diocese, and for its approximately 125 local churches and real properties in the states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. 

His experience includes employment as a corporate, healthcare and bankruptcy Paralegal at several high profile New York City law firms and the federal government. He has been employed at the Office of the United States Attorney, (S.D.N.Y.);  Weil, Gotshal & Manges; Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston and Rosen; Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts; Kramer, Levin, Nessen, Kamin & Frankel; O’Melveny & Meyers and Proskauer Rose LLP, assisting attorneys in representing corporations respecting purchases, sales, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, debtors, creditors, Creditors’ Committees, indentured trustees, financial institutions, medical facilities, healthcare professionals, general corporate matters and in large Chapter 11 Reorganizations. Solo practitioner law firms seek his assistance with issues regarding their church and nonprofit clients. 

Mr. Carlton holds a Master of Business Administration in Financial Services from Metropolitan College of New York. He is a graduate of Long Island University’s Paralegal Studies Program and served as an Adjunct Professor of Bankruptcy Law in its Paralegal Program. 

Ron is currently a member of the Legal Studies Program Advisory Board at Berkeley College of New York City.
