Annie Schmitz is the Director of Programs and Research at Momentum Nonprofit Partners. Annie relocated to Memphis from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she spent several years working in nonprofits and consulting. Her previous positions include Grants and Communications Coordinator at COA Youth & Family Centers, Managing Director at the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, and Associate at Nation Consulting. She focuses on empowering nonprofits to achieve tangible results. In 2019, Annie received her masters degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she completed extensive coursework in nonprofit resource development, financial management, governance, organizational leadership, and program planning and accountability. Annie received her Bachelor’s in Government Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017. Annie is skilled in analyzing, writing, and speaking about complex public and organizational matters. She is passionate about community, and will inspire you to do work you’re proud of.
