Virginia Wright has deep nonprofit management and consulting experience. She helps organizations build capacity through a variety of services, including strategic planning, the creation of policies and procedures, and individual and institutional fundraising. Virginia finds that increasing revenue is often a function of becoming clear and intentional about mission, vision, goals, and operational policies and procedures. Her firm Wright Consulting has provided strategic thinking, marketing, and fundraising services to nonprofit organizations throughout the Monterey Bay and Silicon Valley regions, and community-based art and cultural plans for cities in Northern California and Nevada. She has held executive level positions including Executive Director at the Santa Cruz County Symphony; Director of Development at Community Bridges, MAPS and Carmel Bach Festival; Associate Director at Arts Council Silicon Valley; and Office Manager at the Global Fund for Women. She received her BA in International Relations from San Francisco State University, her MBA from Santa Clara University. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and Standards for Excellence Licensed Consultant.
