Cindy Love believes that nonprofits and the services they provide are some of the very core assets to any community, especially those in extreme rural communities. From this belief, CAL Funding Initiatives LLC came to be as a nonprofit consulting company that not only assists those in the nonprofit sector stay compliant with their IRS and state regulations, but also assists with the grant research, writing, and management aspect as well. After many years as management in the field of mental health, and then as the executive director of a county domestic violence/sexual assault shelter/center, she decided to utilize her knowledge and expertise to help more nonprofits stay viable, compliant, and fundable! With an Associate Degree and a Bachelor Degree in Human Services, and courses toward a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Management, along with being a graduate of Leadership Clinton County, a Licensed Consultant with PANO, a member of the Grant Professionals Association, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Rotary, and having sat on and currently is seated on several board of directors, Cindy brings knowledge, expertise, and a vested interest to each organization that comes to her for assistance. Married for 41 years to her husband Wayne, she is the very proud mother of 2 sons, Troy and Todd (a Staff Sgt. serving his 5th deployment in the USMC) and 3 grandsons (Aiden, Hunter, and Vaughn) and is life-long resident of Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
