The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) and the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County (ACAAC) recently announced the selection of eleven nonprofit Arts and Culture organizations to participate in an 18-month program training program with the Standards for Excellence Institute.
The Standards for Excellence Institute would like to congratulate several organizations who recently completed the Standards for Excellence accreditation and recognition program.
The National Catholic Reporter spoke with Msgr. Robert S. Meyer, pastor of the first Catholic parish to become Standards for Excellence accredited - the Catholic Community of Saints Peter and Paul - regarding their decision to earn accreditation."The goal is that prudent stewardship is a vehicle 'so you can pass it over to the next generation.'"

Standards for Excellence Ethics Standards Committee Advances Nonprofit Transparency and Accountability

The National Ethics Standards Committee is charged with overseeing the accreditation and recognition program of the Standards for Excellence Institute.
OFFICIAL RELEASE: In May 2016, the Standards for Excellence Institute’s Licensed Consultant program celebrated its tenth anniversary and “Ten Years of Advancing Excellence.” The Standards for Excellence Institute promotes fundamental values in the nonprofit sector such as honesty, integrity, fairness, respect, trust, responsibility, and accountability, all of which are inherently important in the nonprofit world.
The Standards for Excellence Institute proudly announces its 2016 Class of Licensed Consultants. Recently completing the intensive, three-day training, class members are now licensed in every aspect of the Standards for Excellence program and are capable of providing nonprofit organizations with organizational assessments, consulting, training, and assistance in the application process for national Standards for Excellence accreditation.
The Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama hosted a reception to recognize 14 organizations who will share more than $250,000 from a local grant fund, reports the Anniston Star. Three of the organizations have been accredited by the Standards for Excellence program through a partnership with the Community Foundation and the Alabama Association of Nonprofits, a Standards for Excellence Replication Partner.
The Inasmuch Foundation has announced the distribution of $2.4 million in grants to 25 organizations serving Oklahoma communities, including $25,000 for the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits towards their Standards for Excellence, and other programs.
